Neuroscience Micrograph Scarf

  • $19.00

The micrograph photography process entails using an evaporation process to allow the substance to crystallize, then a special optical microscope is used to take the picture.  No color has been added, but the lighting has an effect on the colors that are displayed.  However, the crystallization process is like a fingerprint.  Each pattern is unique to the substance.  This scarf incorporates the following chemicals:  Acetylcholine, Alpha Endorphin, Caffeine, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Estradiol, Gamma Endorphin, Norepinephrine,  Progesterone, Serotonin, and Testosterone.  The pictures were taken at Florida State University by Michael W. Davidson.  The scarf measures 140 inches by 30 inches.  It is made from modal fabric.  We chose this particular fabric because of its quality.  It can be worn with casual attire or professional clothes.  Additionally, it can be machine washed and dried and if it gets wrinkled, you can just spritz it with water and throw it in the dryer for a bit and it will be wrinkle-free.
